Educational Visits

We believe that educational visits play an important role in broadening children's knowledge and understanding of the world. We offer a rich and varied range of interesting and exciting educational visits to enhance our pupils' learning across the curriculum. Trips always support educational objectives and adhere to rigorous local authority risk assessments, approved by the Headteacher and Directors of the Academy, to ensure children remain safe whilst they are outside the school environment. The Academy has two minibuses which allow us to take part in many out of school activities and undertake collaborative activities with Scawby Academy.

Recent visits have included Scunthorpe Music Festival, Hull Hands on History Ancient Egyptians Museum, Cleethorpes, Eden Camp, a performance by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Baths Hall, Lincolnshire Show and many others. We also provide 8 weeks of swimming lessons for every child from Year 2 upwards each year.
